Cold! Oh and other random things

Well our heat in the apartment is broken. The maintence guy just showed up finally. I bundled Daniel up in his winter coat to keep him warm but this cold is starting to give me a migraine ugh.

I totally want a foodsaver vacuum thingy now (I watched the infomercial hehe) so I can have hands free quality vacuum sealing!

I am going to try, if anyone wants, to do a podcast this weekend.

I bought Mr. & Mrs. Smith last night, I normally do not buy dvd’s but I did enjoy this movie although I might have enjoyed it a bit more if I wasn’t so bitterly COLD last night.

I have no clue what to make for dinner yet, I have turkey italian sausages, ground turkey, and turkey tenderloins. Yay for turkey!

Random Babble

It’s so cold, “feels like” 2 degrees ick.

Yesterday I got Daniel a haircut (finally) and we (my sister, her boyfriend, and my son) all went to Applebee’s because I wanted to try their Weight Watchers menu, the food itself (I got the shrimp & steak skewers) was very tasty but the service was lacking majorly. The waiter messed up my my sister’s order then tried to TELL her what she ordered (he brought a shrimp dish and she doesn’t eat any seafood) then they never refilled any of our beverages, and then on the reciept tried to charge us for the meal we sent back (the one that was improperly brought to our table), it was insane! We are going to see if there is another Applebee’s in our area but the one at Randhurst mall just has the worst service.

I am going to see if I can’t go to the store after work because I am already out of fruit and I depend on my fruity goodness!

Snow is like Glitter

I bit the side of my tongue this morning so now it feels all swollen and I sound drunk when I try to talk. Which is simply fantastic since I’m sure customers think I am an alcoholic at this point.

I am going to attempt to do some of my holiday cards after I eat my lunch, glitter goodness! I would prefer to have them all mailed out by tomorrow so if you want to exchange cards hurry up and let me know so we can exchange addresses!

Apparently my father’s fridge (I have the one that came with the apartment, he uses the one Matt and I bought back in Ohio) broke so I hope he gets that fixed ASAP because I really don’t like having all of that junk food in my fridge (my fridge is filled with fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meat, cheese, and water bottles).

I like stickers

I think I am getting sick. My throat is kind of sore and I feel slightly congested. That can’t be good.

It’s supposed to snow a ton today, I am so excited! Just in time for the weekend so Daniel and I can make snow angels, snow ball fights, and hopefully… just… hopefully a snowman!

I did all of my cards today (as in sealing envelope, and adoring with glorious stickers!) but I still have 6 more cards available if anyone else wants to exchange cards! I can not wait to recieve all of my holiday cards in the mail from everyone!

My fathers fridge is working again, thankfully or I would have gone insane!

Last night I was SO excited to make some turkey tostadas (because I was craving spicy food) so I had the pan heated up and was about to put the ground turkey breast meat in when…. it completely jumped out of the pan and onto the floor. I was so upset so I called my sister all weepy about the meat so she hauled us to Blockbuster and then to the grocery store where I not only bought extra meat, but all sorts of other things because the grocery store is the one place that I can go buckwild in for purchasing things. My tostadas did come out very nummy (and for those doing WW, only 5pts per tostada which the way I make them, are huge!) I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight, maybe BLT’s and sweet potato fries? (I use Jennie-O extra lean turkey bacon)

Puffy Glitter

First, here’s some photos of me from right this oh so very instant. Don’t I look fabulous at almost 2am?

I’ve had a rough day, found out that some people I used to think of as close friends turned out to be anything but. So lesson learned *wallows in glitter puffs* I just wonder… how do you handle being gossiped about, plotted against, and backstabbed by people who on the surface appeared to be your closest friends? At the very least I know that I still have a wonderful circle of trustworthy friends who accept my glitter ways even if they don’t understand them!

It’s supposed to (hopefully!) snow more tomorrow, that would be awesome because I totally want to build a snowman with Daniel! With a carrot for the nose and everything!

Well I suppose I am going to find some new music (new to me anyway!) to listen to and then go to bed for some sleep!
