Ain’t Too Proud To Beg

February 1st 2006 / 1 minute to read

I really need a hug right now. It’s just been a crappy evening.

What are the best female empowerment songs?

What are the best songs about breaking up*?

* Footnote
I haven’t been involved with anyone for a year now, not since I broke up with my son’s father. I just need closure and since I’m not going to get it, I would prefer to wallow in music. I am just feeling this way because, what would have been our seven year anniversary, is coming up and it’s bringing up a lot of raw emotions right now.

Aww.  I’d give you a hug, take you out for some coffee, and make you a mix CD if I could.  Some good “empowering” songs, though… I know and angry sort of song called “Elmo” by Holly McNarland.  There are also two more pleasant songs by Plumb called “Free” and “Real”.

The design of your website makes me envy your talents, by the way.  Good luck!

HUGS! Big Hugs!

Oh, female empowerment song…I enjoy “Bitch” by Meredith Brooks. It perks me right on up. LOL!

As far as a break up song? I have no idea. I will think on.
