ER Visit
Last night I got yet another migraine (it’s been over a month since my last one!!) that was very intense, went to the ER, they sent me up to Labor and Delivery considering I am 32 weeks now. It was over an hour before I was given any meds however the on call doctor was amazing. She was an older woman and was simply great. The nurse however, not so much, I’ve had her before and she always acts shocked, “you’re circ’ing right?” OF COURSE NOT! *cue shocked look*. Anyway, I was given two drugs, the first, had a bit of a reaction to it (started having involuntary jitters), the second was generally effective. They did a quick ultrasound, baby is heads down! That’s right! The baby is positioned normally! Great news for my VBAC wanting self! Ok I am going to lay down and rest some more.

Why Pre-made?
A quick pondering, especially for those that use WordPress, why would you choose to use a pre-made WP theme instead of creating a design yourself? On the flip side, why would you NOT use a pre-made design? I’ve been thinking about this lately when going through blogs I read, I see the exact same theme more than 3x, it’s a touch odd to me. Love to get your point of view!

Favorite Social Network
Out of curiosity, what’s your favorite social network and why? I really do prefer Twitter, because it’s quick, it’s easy, and if I need one, I can get a response to a question or support in general fairly quickly. Doesn’t feel like I’m speaking to the void so much. I also added this as a poll on the sidebar.

New OSN Forum: Nocturnal
When I verbalized my frustration of not finding a message board that I felt “myself” at, I had a lot of people suggest I create my own. So I would like you to check out Nocturnal. I am using bbPress (same company as wordpress) for the backend. Feel free to join and participate, I don’t have “post limits” or any strict rules (I figure everyone can behave). Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, would be appreciated!

Guest Post Fridays
I would like to start a mini project, Guest Post Fridays. The idea is that you want to write about a topic, generally something specific, could be related to tech (computers, mobile phones, etc), blogging (cms, css, xhtml, etc), attachment parenting, and so on. The plus-sides for you would be: increased traffic, increased exposure, helping me out (especially the closer I get to having the baby!), and more. Any takers?

Small Additions to OSN
I’ve added a few tidbits to OSN. On the links/elsewhere page I added a small area at the bottom suggesting exchanging links (NOT to be confused with “link exchanges”). I got more specific on the submit a link page on WHAT links I will accept at this time. I added a new feature, Guest Post Fridays. I also added on the right sidebar, the five most recent posts on Nocturnal.

quick update
I know I’ve not been around this past week, too much stress I suppose! I’ve been working like crazy on a new design which I hope to get up, no later than Monday. Also, just a reminder if you want to submit a guest post, now is the time!

Redesign: Autumn
Redesigned… again! I may blog more in-depth later, but as you can see I removed the submit links area, added a larger sized footer, and little stuff no one but me notices really. Feedback would be appreciated.
