FireFox — Only browser that is worthwhile. I find IE a poor excuse for a browser and is too full of security holes for my tastes. You may learn more about switching from IE and why at BrowseHappy.

Thunderbird —  Simply lovely email client. Has a built in “junk” aka “spam” function.
