So far today has been a good day and it’s not even noon!

I want to start by sharing an amazing blog post by a friend of mine!

When it comes to breastfeeding, we can’t handle the truth
by The Feminist Breeder {follow on twitter}

Where to even start? I think to say that this post is amazing is a bit obvious considering (at the time of this post) it’s had well over 5,000 facebook shares, 230 comments, and 14,000 pageviews! I strongly urge everyone to go read and comment on her post!

So it’s been a crazy past few days, from my nocturnal children keeping me up all night to the migraine from hell I suffered from yesterday… I am just thrilled to not only be awake in the morning AFTER sleeping (granted only three hours but still), but it’s sunny and we may even go to the Brookfield Zoo today!

At some point this afternoon/evening I am going to try and work on a basic photography tutorial on aperture, basically how changing your aperture can control how much light is let through the lens and how that can change your depth of field.

I’ve been wanting to do another wordpress or blogging tutorial, however not sure what YOU want to learn from ME. Suggestions? By all means I have a question & answer area for a reason!

Really, I just wanted to post more photos and needed an excuse…

This post is over a year old which means the content may be outdated or no longer accurate.

*giggle* We love your photos, you don’t need an excuse to post them!

I say for the WordPress post do something on creating custom templates. Just some tips and tricks perhaps? That will go along with the comments one you posted.

Glad you get to see the light today (hee, how corny) and hope your head feels better!

LOL thank you! Ah that’s not a bad idea, a tutorial on creating a really basic CSS theme…

Those photos are gorgeous! Our magnolia tree blossomed, but it seems like it’s lost a lot of its oomph after only a few days. Of course neither of us has had a chance to take the camera out. Bah!

Thank you! I am SO jealous that you have a magnolia tree, I feel like we are the only house without ANYTHING flowering sometimes (which isn’t the case but STILL)!

p.s. I always forget to check that little box, so consider the invitation perpetually open to come on over to my site and respond ANY time, because YOU are awesome too ;)

AWW lol thank you!!

Oh, I’ve heard so much about Hipstamatic — I’m definitely downloading it (although I can’t imagine anything making my iPhone cooler!

Oh it’s a great app! I like using the random feature too, never know WHAT kind of photo you’re going to get!

TheFeministBreeder

You’re actually the second person today to recommend that Hipstamatic app – I really must go download that. Despite buying a new digital camera (a cheap little Kodak EasyShare which actually takes way better pictures than my 2 yr old EasyShare that swam in the margarita) I still take most of my pics with my iPhone. The camera on it is actually quite nice looking in the right light. And I lurve uploading to Twitter & Facebook. If my digital camera did that, I’d totally use it more often (and actually you CAN buy some WiFi card for your camera to do just that, but I’m not buying another $100 toy when I have a $400 phone that can do that.)

It is SUCH a fun app! I just wish the iPhone had an actual flash, I loved that about my old blackberry lol.

Gorgeous photos, as usual. And the first commentator is right…you never need an excuse to post more photos. Post away! I’ve never heard of Hipstamatic, but I’m going to get it. Like now. By the way, I’m so super excited about the tutorial on aperture! Have a great day Sarah.

Aww thank you! OMG I know you love the Hipstamatic app now ;)

I use Hipstamatic on my iPhone too and its a fun tool and like you said, like I need another excuse to blog more photos.

Ive been looking for an app to sync with Google Reader, so I’ll definitely have to give Reeder a looksy. Thanks!

LOVE Reeder seriously. It’s a fantastic app and just overall very well designed.
