By all means, ask me a question. Just remember to be polite!

How did you come into the Pagan religion and what drew you to it?
I really don’t remember how I came across Paganism. I did as much research as I could via books and what limited online resources there were back then. I do know I make the conscious choice to BE Pagan when I was around 12 / 13 years old (I’ll be 31 years old in Oct ’12). I’ve always felt very connected to nature, the moon, the sky… ah I wish I had a better answer for you!
Is there a website or a book you would recommend for someone interested in Paganism?
Hmm. Good question! I’ve always liked Ellen Dugan’s books. For a website, PaganWiccan.about.com is… ok enough. There really isn’t any sites out there that I just love an adore. But for general basics, it’s fine.
What is your favorite flavor of Eegee’s ever
OHHH I don’t know! Strawberry… watermelon… one of those!
How did you get started / interested in photography?
I became interested at a fairly young age with a Kodak 110 film camera. I took it everywhere with me! Once I became a pre-teen I upgraded to a basic 35mm film camera and again, took it everywhere with me. I only wish I still had the photos.
I think I just really want to capture a moment… freeze time.
I became more serious about it after digital cameras came out because it simply was more affordable and gave me instant gratification!
How many cats is too many?
When the place you live smells like a litter box or it costs more to feed them / take care of them than your mortgage or rent!
What happened to Pagan@OSN?
Ahh the glory days! Really I think I just got frustrated with the ebb and flow of it. It would be super mega busy one year and the next… dead for 12 straight months. I also got overwhelmed by keeping it fresh and updated with all of the various projects.
If you had to choose just 1 nail polish colour to wear for the rest of eternity, what would it be?
Absolutely impossible for me to choose! I mean a dark purple would be odd in the Spring and Summer and a fresh hot pink is crazy talk for Autumn and Winter! AHHH!
Are you prepared for the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte?
I AM SOOOO PREPARED!!!!

Managed to get one early 8/31. UTTER BLISS!

Which design are you most proud of?
I don’t have a single design over the past 12 years that I think was THE BEST, although I really like my current one! I generally always prefer my Autumn designs though.
Why are you so awesome?
It’s my inner chola… (here’s a fun link: how to look like a chola)
Why choose self-hosted WordPress?
I’ve used pretty much every big name CMS there is! From Greymatter to MovableType to ExpressionEngine… I’ve finally settled on WordPress because of the following:
- open-source
- constantly updated by a large and active community
- the code is easy to read and understand
- a plugin for anything you aren’t able to code yourself
And that’s just a few reasons!
What inspires your photography?
OH color and textures. I think it’s why I’m drawn to macro so much because I love seeing that finer detail like the edges of an Autumn leaf or a droplet on a blade of grass. I also vastly prefer to shoot in late afternoon light. I don’t think I have but a handful of morning photos film or digital!
I do want to work more on my people photography skills but I don’t have the urge to be a child photographer (plus BOTH of my boys automatically pose which drives me crazy)… I think once my toddler gets older I’ll have more time to explore that area for myself!
How excited are you that Kristi of liveandloveoutloud.com is your friend?
I’M SO EXCITED!!! SO EXCITED!!! I’m so scared… *crying and shaking ala Jesse Spano*

Where does your passion for cooking come from?
100% my grandmother. We lived with her for many years and not only did she cook amazing meals from scratch almost every night but taught me how to cook as well. I can do pretty much anything although I do lean towards German, Italian, and Mexican cuisines. My heritage is 1/4 German, 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Irish, and 1/4 French Canadian. The Mexican cuisine stems from my upbringing in Tucson, Arizona.
I really developed a passion for great fresh ingredients and to this day I’d much rather source our food from local farms and farmer’s markets than the grocery store.
Do you remember when we lost the car in Wicker Park in the middle of the night and we walked around for like a half hour trying to find it?
This question is for sure from my best friend Mary!
Ahh one of the most epic nights in my life. The night where I got my first tattoo.
