Eyeshadow Collection

November 18th 2011 / 2 minutes to read

Not only am I going to list all the eyeshadows I have BUT I am going to show photos of them as well. The list is going to be by brand and the photos will be in no particular order so if you see a color you want the name of, let me know. The photos really aren’t my best but considering the volume (and I was too lazy to do more than one basic photo of each), I’m sure we can let my normal high standards go here.

I’d love to see/hear about YOUR eyeshadow collection. I’d also find it awesome if you would share any of your favorite beauty/cosmetic blogs!

I had to gasp when I saw your “Naked” palette. Gunmetal looks completely untouched on yours, whereas on mine, it’s my absolutely favorite color, and I use it all the time. LOL!

Nice collection, Sarah!

Reply to Renèe B.

I believe Gunmetal is one of my sister’s favorites too!

I just have SO MUCH it’s hard to make a dent in anything LOL!

Samantha

There is a 4 month waiting list in Canada for the Naked pallet, so I’m quite jealous that you own it.

Also, do you use primer and if so which do you prefer? I have an Elizabeth Arden one that I LOVE but I bought some Urban Decay primer potion and I don’t really like it…

Reply to Samantha

I got mine at Ulta, I would suggest stalking the Urban Decay site and Sephora site for Naked!

I use UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) the most. I prefer Original and Sin.

I also like to use MAC Painterly Paint Pot or Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Tattle Tale for a primer too.

Jennifer Tait

If you are talking eye primer I love Laura Mercier. It is fantastic and lasts forever. I even just throw it on and mascara and go. Great texture too.

Have you tried any Nars? I love their stuff and they have great colors. There is just to much fun makeup out there. I use to work at the Origins counter and miss it. I really miss the gratis and being there so often so I could peruse the other counters.

Reply to Jennifer Tait

Yep! I love NARS lip and face products, don’t have any eyeshadows (yet).

LOL omg Origins had this gumball… it was the best gum EVER.

Jodi Hall

I have heard good things about the urban decay naked pallet.. is it worth it?

Reply to Jodi Hall

Oh yes! Not only are the shadows pigmented but they blend VERY well. Also the range of colors is fantastic basically from a “nude” look to a super dramatic smoky eye.

Nicole

*gasp* Seriously. Your photography of these shades is impeccable, those are probably the best shots I’ve ever seen of Fyrinnae’s shades. It shows how truly complex they can be, and I love that. Umm, my name is Nicole and I am a Fyrinnae addict. Well, I already have long admired your photograpy, though.
PS Since I do lurk more than comment, I also wanted to tell you how much I always love your layouts.

Reply to Nicole

I really need to post some macro shots of the Fyrinnae because the colors are AMAZING. I really need to order more. I only wish the shipping time wasn’t a month lol!

Kristen

OMG, I want to come and play dress-up at your house! This is fantastic.

I’m normally not that much of an eyeshadow-wearer, but if I had a collection like this, I think I’d be playing with it each and every day.

Reply to Kristen

LOL!!!!!!

Casey

Wow. I have TOTAL makeup envy. :) I have one palatte of Tarte eyeshadow, but I don’t even really know how to wear it.

Reply to Casey

OH which palette do you have?
