Favorite WordPress Plugins for Early April 2011

blog-wp

Here are a few WordPress plugins I am loving lately!

1. LinkWithin
See those thumbnails under each post suggesting another post to look at? Yep, all from this plugin! It really helps with keeping your site “sticky” and brings more readership!

2. PostRank
Although I don’t use the widget on my sidebar, I love seeing the stats in my WP dashboard showing me the “reach” of each of my posts.

I love it and normally I am not a big fan of sidebar thingys, but Instagram is an AWESOME app for the i-products lol and to sort of “share” that joyness via blogs makes it MORE AWESOME lol!

Yay I have been looking for an Instagram plugin!

I love it, it’s fairly simple to install too.

Thanks for sharing! It’s so difficult to track down good plugins out of the millions (it seems) that are out there. I can’t wait to check out the post rank; I’d love that in my dashboard too.

My favorites right now are:

Tweet Old Posts
Broken Link Checker
Yoast WordPress SEo

I know there are more, but those are the ones that pop to mind immediately!

I would love to try Linkwithin again, but it keeps on showing posts way way back which i have already deleted. Bummer. ;(

They have a support option on their website you can contact… I bet they have a cache or something similar they could delete for you!

It’s nice to know there’s an Instagram plugin (for when I miraculously acquire an iSomething). Nrelate is similar to Linkwithin. I had to make the switch when Linkwithin started showing posts from my other blogs even though I was installing a totally different instance of the plugin with a different email address. Weird.

I believe LinkWithin creates a cache, so if you do a massive change or anything you would have to contact their support to “clear” the cache basically.
