Forever Young

What is the best way to respond to comments? Responding to each one via email (which is what I currently do), respond inline on the comments page, responding on the comments page AND emailing the response, or not responding at all? I am curious what people find to be the best solution and what they personally do!

So here’s a list of what I’ve added to this incarnation of OSN so far:

  • Live comment preview
  • Social bookmarking links on every entry
  • Search area
  • Why I Love blog
  • Snippets blog
  • Wee additions to the posted comments
  • Recent comments on red sidebar

I will probably be adding more stuff in the next few days as well!

I would very much appreciate any suggestions for tutorials I could write up, any entries I could write for subjects that aren’t large enough for a full fledged tutorial, or anything else in general for that matter!

This post is over a year old which means the content may be outdated or no longer accurate.

I respond via email. When visitors comment, the comment is emailed to me and I email them if I have to.

It depends on how much time and inclination you have. Personally, I like hearing back from the blogger through email if I have left a question or some comment worthy of a response. I visit so many sites everyday, it would hard for me to go back to that ONE site to see the response I got.
