I love your current domain name, I think you should keep it!

I feel like I’m in kind of the same place as you… I really miss the old days where we had websites and wrote whatever we wanted and had an amazing community! Kept all the riffraff who didn’t know how to code out! lol j/k (kinda)

I started my blog as a place to just blog about my life, but then it started morphing into a design-type blog for my business, but I felt so frustrated that all people wanted out of me were free designs and tutorials. I’m trying to switch it back to being more about me, and people can choose not to read if they don’t like it.

But since I work from home, I really want people to like it and comment because I don’t see anyone all day and blogging and social media are about my only human interactions! I’ve definitely noticed my readership going down since I started blogging less (because I’m busy) and when I do blog it’s less “here’s how you install social media icons” and more “this is what’s going on in my life.”

I know it sounds bitchy, but I kind of HATE that just anyone can blog now–I really liked the community when it was smaller, and you’d have to actually go to someone’s website and leave a comment in their guest book. I made so many friends back then! Now even when people read blogs they don’t have time to comment because there are 100 other blogs that they read filling up their reader. =
