Jury Duty

Yeah so yesterday I come home and notice I have a jury summons. Not only do I have issues with the court system in general, but no way in hell am I going. So I called the jury office twice… is everyone rude or something? Anyway, I figured out on my own that I need to write a letter, which I will fax, explaining I am not able to go due to lack of childcare, which from their website, is an acceptable reason to not do standby jury duty.
This week has sucked majorly so far.
