LET IT SNOW

First off, thank you SO much Crys for the awesome birthday gifts! I was so surprised and so full of glee and was reading them all night feeling giddy… glee and giddy!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Tonight we (my son and myself) are having dinner at my sister’s tonight, I was being all sobby about how crappy I have been with dinners lately so she offered this actually really good idea. Each week choose a cuisine and every night have a dish from that cuisine. So one week could be Mexican food like chicken tortilla soup, enchiladas, tamales, etc. Another week could be Italian, chicken parm, lasanga, shrimp pasta, etc. So I am going to go through my cookbooks (and especially my new cookbooks from Lisa Marie and Crys) to start building my menus!

Oh and thanks to Heather and Melissa, I am like addicted to hummus. Minus the tahini paste because oh dear god the fat grams alone scared me. Plus it is too expensive still… chickpeas, tons of lemon and garlic, a bit of sour cream… it’s all good!

Oh my GOD it is SNOWING! WEE FLURRIES!!!!!! SNOW! SNOWING! FLURRTASTIC!

I so need mittens. ahaha Mittens. I have word issues!

Eee!  Happy Early Birthday!  I had marked my calendar so I would remember to get something (I’m horrible with remembering).

And wow, snow!?  Already?!

I don’t know what I’m going to do about my meal issues yet.  I don’t get home in time to really want to cook full blown meals every night.  Perhaps I’ll have to cook them the night before?  That still doesn’t help with the time issue :x

Post any good recipes!

Well, happy early birthday!  I hope you have a good one!

Reading all about your cuisine plan… really makes me hungry… especially for that Italian food yuuum =]  I’m sure you will have a good time making all that.

Its snowing where you’re at?  YOU’RE SO LUCKY!  It isn’t even cold here… I’m so ready for Winter!
