Lovely, a little ‘water’ damaged by the look of the delicate flowers (much the same as Camellia’s are with morning dew and sunlight… Stunning!!

Oh yes, we had a lot of storms and flooding these past couple of months. I was just happy to even find them because I thought I had “missed” the lilac season!

Lilac, violets, and lavender are my absolute favorites. They all just happen to run with purple colors generally but the scents are so amazing!

Every year I tell my husband we need to plant some lilac bushes. I have my massive lavender plant, and we have violets all around the house…. but no lilac. YET.
