Twitter rolled out a service (for public profiles) to see the first tweet of ANY account!

Using Minecraft for homeschooling. My oldest is going to LOVE this!

Super bright and colorful office supplies.

I’m really into two new shows right now, Believe and Resurrection.

Life

The biggest thing is that we got kitties!! A LOT OF KITTIES! I’m a cat overlord! All are adopted from two different shelters. Cinnabon and Creampuff are a bonded pair. All (per the vet we took all five to) are around three years of age.

Creampuff

I jacked up the tendon in my left wrist at the end of February. How? Apparently I was just a bit too hardcore in talking with my hands. What can I say, I’m Italian.

Jacked up wrist

So the lovely urgent care provided me with that brace and I’m NOT wearing it the majority of time now, however it still hurts a bit.

What else… oh we spent a fortune at freaking Ikea and re-did the boys room completely and I re-did my desk and vanity areas.

Damn Ikea

Health wise for me, March really hasn’t been my month. Lots of doctor appointments including yet another specialist. However I have kept off 15lbs since January 11th by being grain free, legume free, and low calorie (1400 a day on average). However it’s coming off very slowly. Most weeks there’s no loss which boggles my mind. Yes I was tested last year extensively (including my thyroid since I have the majority of symptoms of hypothyroidism) by many doctors and specialists and I’ve been told that I am 100% “fine”. Per the doctors, there is no reason for me to have all the health issues I’m dealing with. “Maybe try low-carb!” is the best answer I’ve gotten. Since apparently GRAIN FREE LEGUME FREE just isn’t enough for eliminating carbs but… that’s the only “solution” I’ve been given thus far.

I’ve also gone back to drinking a ton of tea. Mainly from Teavana. I recently stocked up on my two favorites, Silver Yin Zhen Pearls White Tea and Gyokuro Imperial Green Tea. I also decided to try something new (and the sample at the store was so good!) and got Monkey Picked Oolong Tea.

I got some time with my niece which was awesome.

I went a bit crazy buying flowers lately…

I got some new curtains and made a visit to the lake.

For fun… my very first tweet EVER and my first tweet on my now main Twitter account. I can’t believe I’ve been tweeting since 2006!

Maybe try paleo? Adding in exercise and strength training can help too. I frequent this website: http://www.nerdfitness.com

Aside from counting calories, I am Paleo (well more so Primal). Zero grains. Zero legumes. Lots of veggies / fats (avocado especially!) / meats and so on.

For the working out I’m limited per my doctors (ugh, plural) due to an issue with my right calf that started this past October.

Desiree

Have you ever been tested for PCOS? I have most of the same symptoms of hypothyroidism (including super slow weight loss) and that is due to the insulin resistance from the PCOS. The meds I take for it made a huge difference for me!

Reply to Desiree

Yep I have! And again “perfectly fine!”. I know I should feel happy that nothing is obviously wrong with me yet… why am I having all of these issues?

My husband thinks that I might be borderline hypothyroid. So I have the symptoms but since my bloodwork is within “normal range” my symptoms are being ignored.

1. Loving the new design!

2. Yay kitties! You’ll be a great cat overlord.

3. Sorry I’ve been MIA. Everything’s just… aargh.

Thank you!

KITTIES EVERYWHEREEEE!

Text me!

your layouts are always super lovely, sarah.

i love teavana but it’s so expensive, i get it as a treat, and i don’t home brew it. maybe i should–then i’d probably drink more. tea is one of those things i love but i forget i love it so i rarely make it. it’s weird.

my first tweet was “chillin’.” lol.

five cats at once, though! wow! i love cats but my husband would never allow it. we have three now and they’re enough for us. if i had a bigger place and a fenced in yard, i’d have way more pets.

Thank you!

Would you believe I’m already out of the green and white tea? It’s SOOO expensive. They are super nice but I can’t afford the volume of tea I need (and want!).

My husband is lucky I STOPPED at 5… for now anyway lol! I figured out that we could have 6-8 comfortably for us and the cats (financially and space wise).
