More Rambling

July 18th 2003 / 1 minute to read

I actually had to wake Daniel up to go to the feista market heh, well he was happy about it thankfully.

So, I did a ton of laundry today, cleaned and vacumned my bedroom, the hallway, and the living room.

For dinner I made some sweet potato baked “fries” with olive oil, freshly ground black pepper, and dried basil, chicken finger/nuggets, (thanks to MJ), by taking skinless bonless strips of chicken breast, cutting them in half dipping them in beaten egg that had freshly ground black pepper, then into a mixture of flour, freshly ground black pepper, dried basil, and a wee bit of cheese that had taco seasoning already added. Baked that. For dipping, I mixed some fresh guacamole I just made (avacados are on sale 2/$1!!) with some salsa. So very nummy.

So sad I basically write a whole entry just on dinner. I guess it’s because I really don’t eat all that much, for various reasons, and tonight I just felt all nummy and skilled.

I am actually not in a good mood although I think I sound perky.

I will probably go to bed within 2 hours.

Awe Sarah, sounds like you had a pretty good day.  I love to cook especially when things are stressed. There’s something about creating delecious feasts with the Goddesses gifts that just lightens me some. All the handling and slicing and smelling and mixing of this gold is a religious experience haha!  Besides being a good cook is a talent not to be sneezed at now days.  Honestly, I don’t know too many 20 somethings that cook anymore. Now, how sad is that?  Sad but true, so kudos to you!
