I am so overwhelmed lately, if it's not the storm

I am so overwhelmed lately, if it's not the storm after storm triggering my migraine attacks then it's the bloodwork that just came back that is way worse than I thought it would be... but! BUT!

I did get my new barbells (tongue pierced since 2008) from @bodycandy, two of them are supposed to be glow-in-the-dark which will only amuse me but still! I always go for the glittery plastic variety, the exception is the upper right but I'll just use the ends not the metal component.

I go for a mountain of bloodwork tomorrow and then at the end of the month, back to all of my different doctors. Seeing how my thyroid is doing, setting a baseline for hormones in general (estrogen/testosterone for example), seeing what's going on with my mystery autoimmune disease that is starting to emerge from the depths of the abyss... stuff like that.

My two sons helped me so much this weekend in setting back up for the gardening season. It's a lot of physical labor that I'm not able to do. Also got onions and potatoes planted.

So anyway, about the photo, Summer (aka Mr. Murder Mittens) is helping model my new West Elm doormat (before it went outside). I've purchased this repeatedly over the years and always grab it two when it goes on sale.

2022 has been so rough on me physically and mental

2022 has been so rough on me physically and mentally. Not even an hour and a half into the new year I broke a tooth, and since then I’ve broken a toe, my carpal tunnel has been relentless, and I currently have an ear infection (went to urgent care a few days ago for drops). And that’s excluding my migraines, ulcers, thyroid, and autoimmune stuff. It’s a lot on top of my day to day survival (if you’re friended to me on FB you know what I’m talking about). Anyway I’m doing what I can while still remaining intensely isolated and with nonexistent self esteem. It’s a pretty picture of the almost totally full moon though!

Is it too early to decorate for St. Patrick's Day

Is it too early to decorate for St. Patrick's Day ☘️ ? Whatever, I'm Irish... and it helps my mood because it's way too early to decorate for spring!

Also, I just realized you can see the unicorn @thiskindnepenthe got me for Valentine's Day 💜. The only gift I got 🤷‍♀️... but it's awesome and it watches me always! I should name it... suggestions?
