Where have I been? Dealing with a concussion. I’ve had it for the past six weeks. How did I get a concussion? WALKING into a door frame. What can I say… mad skills!
I’ve been trying and failing at my doctor prescribed brain rest (because I can’t stay away from working!).
Hopefully August will be a far better month for me!

Just still dealing with the short term memory loss. WHICH IS SO FRUSTRATING! I can’t even express how frustrating it is.
Beautiful picture, good lord. Whenever I try to photograph the moon, I just laugh because it ends up looking like a dim streetlight from 40 mile away. I hope August is MUCH better for you and your noggin! Concussions are never funny but…this was hilarious: “What can I say… mad skills!”

HOLY SMOKES, WHAT?!?!?! PSL (or PSA for you Americano lovah) is back….this month?!?!?! You have no idea how much this comment brightened my day! The return of the PSL/PSA is one of the commercial signs of fall I most look forward to! The other big one being B&BW releasing their pumpkin candle range! Which has totes mcgoats occured as well. Too bad it’s going to be 97 here this Thurs/Fri. COME ON, DUDES. That is no bueno!

I am still upset that after 6 hours at the ER, the doctor (who refused to run ANY tests and I had to almost yell for a ct scan), told me there is absolutely no chance it was a concussion simply because I didn’t faint or start vomiting right away and that I was over-reacting when I brought up the possibility.
When I went to my regular doctor two days later, he diagnosed me in less than 5 minutes and that I had a “classic” concussion.
Sure enough!
ER doctors can be pains in the butt sometimes. If they don’t view you as an “emergency” they just want you gone.
