I’ve subscribed to SquareHue, which is a monthly nail polish subscription box. You don’t get to choose the colors but each $21 box generally has a theme. The August 2013 SquareHue box theme is Endless Summer!

The Colors

  • Bikini Beach – bright yellow cream
  • Scorched Summer – burnt orange red cream
  • Surf Gypsy – dark raspberry with holographic glitter

LOVE THESE COLORS! Perfect for the end of Summer and even the start of Autumn.

Bikini Beach is a very bright, but not neon, yellow polish. Ahh yellow polish in general is notorious for being hard to work with and sadly this was the same. Even after three thin coats it was still streaky.

Scorched Summer a great darkened red with a touch of burned orange to it. I really like it and think it goes great with my skin tone.

Surf Gypsy has HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER! I mean honestly, do I need to say anything else? This is a great dark raspberry shade and the glitter is great, not too chunky.

I enjoyed the SquareHue Endless Summer Collection this month and can not wait to see what they have planned for next month!

I can’t recommend SquareHue enough. You get a ton of polish for the price, a good variety of colors, they donate to worthy causes… no gimmicks. They do nail polish and they do it very well.

Price: $21 per month

I haven’t tried my yellow yet, but I liked the Scorched Summer, and love the color of Surf Gypsy (wearing it now, actually).

I LOVE Scorched Summer and Surf Gypsy but Bikini Beach was a let down. As all yellows are (when it comes to polish anyway!).
