Ugh

April 20th 2003 / 2 minutes to read

Just got back from my grandmother’s house. Not fun. Over and over she tried to give my son meat, dairy, among other things. She wanted to give him cow’s milk, then when I said no dairy, said oh well do you want some butter? Since as we all know butter is not created from cow’s milk. Everytime he made any sound she told him “You’re hungry, tell your mommy you want real food” uh huh… soo… then my sister dropped me and Daniel off here. So all alone. Yet again.

I am in such a crappy mood. Ugh. Oh in response to comments that I am way too lazy to email back, a bus is a good idea, but take into account the zero money for bus fares and no one to watch my son, then it kinda puts me back in the same box. Since my sister does not work Wednesday, well she never does, I am going to try on Tuesday to get my father all riled up to go early Wed morning to do the car title. I am tired of everyone bitching about the car, about having to take me places, but can’t spend 30 min going down to the DMV to sign a few papers. Ugh.

I need a perky thing to happen, any suggestions?

Perky? What’s that? Maybe you could watch a cheerleading movie, cuz that’s the only place perky exists I think.

I suggest watching Too Wong Foo, Thanks for everything!  Julie Newmar.  It makes me happy.  Maybe.  Hmmm.

Sorry your day didn’t go well, Sarah.  Do you thing your grandmother’s attempts were to undermine your decisions about what you chose for your son or was she just speaking about what she knows and feels comfortable with?  Her intentions may have been good… not realizing how they are perceived by you.

It’s not always easy going against what you’ve grown up with.  I can understand the frustration it might cause both sides.  I hope they learn to respect your decisions.

Take care… Lisa

Hrm, Walk like an Egyptian was a favorite when I was little, as were all Bon Jovi songs.  I think I was big into Tiffany and Madonna too *rofl*  So yeah.

I don’t think yo need “perky” things i think you need to start thinking about the things you have not the things you don’t. If you really felt you needed or wanted a job you would find a way to do it, you wouldn’t just complain about it. You’ve received a lot of suggestions from your comments and if you were desperate enough you would try them. Also you keep referring to “bad” and “good” Sara, and no one says you have to be one or the other, you can be both.
