I haven’t been around much… February just isn’t my month emotionally.
I’ve been reverting a bit musically and reveling in the 90’s. Kris Kross – Jump and Marilyn Manson – The Beautiful People are the newest to my “classic” 90’s collection. I also really like the Music and Lyrics soundtrack, especially Haley Bennett – Buddha’s Delight!
Ostara is coming up in a few weeks, not sure what I want to do. Daniel could care less about coloring eggs. Any suggestions? What are some good gemstones for Ostara? I reorganized my desk so that the shelf above my monitor has all of my photo gear and photography books and the shelf above that has some gemstones and my tarot decks. What are some of your favorite pagan websites and blogs? I signed up and got myself a CovenSpace over at StarryMom (of course!) after seeing Steph’s covenspace. The closer it gets to spring the more I crave renewal and farmer’s markets lol.
My hostee Kat has started blogging again so go check her out! I am always open for hosting if y’all know of anyone interested.
I’m debating once again, should I use Flickr or Zooomr for my photography (especially for what I post on OSN). I deleted imagine entirely due to massive amounts of direct linking which sucks. Speaking of, here are some recent photos.

I am going to be going to the library either tonight or tomorrow night, what books should I pick up? Doesn’t matter if it’s fiction or non-fiction.
ETA Again
Too lazy for another full on entry! I was pondering a bit ago and I realized that most likely I conceived Danny on Beltane which would make sense from when he was born… I don’t know why I get a kick out of that.
Yesss—Jump is such an amazing song, I listen to it while working out all the time, haha. Really, there’s little that beats 90’s pop/hip-hop. And the flowers photographs are amazing! I’m always re-impressed (can that be a word?) by your photography skills. And that’s ridiculous that Imagine had to be closed—why in the world do people direct link? Grrr…But I suppose it can also be taken as a sign that your photography is definitely admired? Hmmm, lose/win situation.
I love the first two images.
I prefer flickr because it seems more professional.
Huh. February seems to be a bad month for alot of people (myself included). I’m sure we’ll all manage to survive a couple more days, though.
I can’t see any of the photos on this post, but since everyone else seems to be able to, I’d say it’s a problem on my end.
That last shot is absolutely beautiful! It’s a shame people have to be so ignorant with regard to hotlinking. : If it’s worth anything, I prefer Flickr over Zooomr, but I suppose that’s just because I have my pro account with Flickr and no account at all with Zooomr. That’ll tend to make one a little biased, I suppose. ;)
Books.. books.. I am reading “House of Leaves” right now, and it’s a chore just because I don’t have the time I need to really devote myself to it (the book is a bit confusing; if you can google up some of the excerpts from the book you’ll see why – especially if they’re scans of the actual page!).
Hay Sarah…
came to ur blog through flikr…and i must admit i became ur fan:)
your pics are just stunning as u are:)
Anyways here is a liitle tip for you…You seems to have some trouble with ppl “hotlinking” all your images.
But there is a way to prevent this. You just need to place this code in .htaccess to stop them from doing this.
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://(www.)?mydomain.com/.*$ [NC]
RewriteRule .(gif|jpg|js|css)$ – [F]
Try that in your htaccess…replace mydomain.com with your own, and it’ll prevent hotlinking of gif, jpg, js, and css files.
If you have any prob with this just mail me…i’ll try to help you out!
vib.
Sarah…What sort of bribery would it take for you to come down here and photograph our wedding? Hmm?
Oh yes…and I hope you stick with Flickr. Pretty Please.
