Those (and the foilage shots below) are GORGEOUS! What kind of camera do you use? I have been researching and playing with DSLRs lately — I want to make the upgrade, but can’t make up my mind between the Canon Rebel and the Nikon D5000.

Never mind –just read your “About Me” page and saw your equipment list. Sorry!

Thank you so much! I used to use my Nikon D50 but now use my Nikon D90. I saw that you found my equipment info! NIKON NIKON NIKON lol!!

Beautiful!!

Aw thank you Tracie!

Kimberly

These are stunning. I love the colors!

Reply to Kimberly

Thank you! I shot those after it had rained in our yard! I was brave and fought the mosquitoes and my broken foot lol.

love the water droplets especially…

Thank you! My favorite of the water droplets in this post is the 2nd one.

Yup, that’s the same one I was saying on Twitter I want a print of to hang on my wall. :)

Fantastic capture cameras (and photographers :) are just amazing theses days.

Thank you!!

And Miles To Go...

gorgeous and simple. Perfect.

Aww thank you so much!

Ashley

Beautiful shots again. I love the first one the most. I love macro shots.

Reply to Ashley

Oh yes I am ALL about nature macro’s! I really should attempt to branch out a bit more lol.

amandab

Lovely! And my picture just happens to be yellow and green this week too! :)

Happy WW!

Reply to amandab

Awesome! I need to find some time to visit everyone’s WW for this week! Depends if the baby decides to SLEEP at all LOL

Lynda

I love the focus on that first shot, especially!

Reply to Lynda

Thank you! I am really pleased at how well they turned out actually since I was gimping along with my foot of evil to try and shoot SOMETHING for WW lol!

Such a lovely study.

Yay thank you so much Beth!

Sarah, do you EVER take crappy photos? lol These photos are unbelievably stunning. They’re so crisp. If I didn’t know any better, I’d reach into my computer screen and touch the dew on that blade of grass. Amazing!
Thanks for stopping by and linking up. Have a great day.

Kristi, Live and Love…Out Loud
@TweetingMama

You are seriously too kind!

liz

for the sake of not going on and on about my obsession with water droplets, i do like how you captured the flower just before it was ready to bloom.

Reply to liz

LOL I think of you every time I post a droplet photo!

Andrea

Beautiful as always. Still working on mine for today…

Reply to Andrea

Thank you! Let me know when you post yours!

Maureen

WOW, Sarah those water droplets pictures are to die for. The more I see your pictures the more I lust for that macro lens hahaha. Hopefully Christmas will come early enough ;)

Reply to Maureen

Thank you! Just remember, it’s a Sigma 105mm Macro!

Julie From Momspective

Ooh! I was about to tell you how pretty the pictures are but this comment area ROCKS!

Maman A Droit

What beautiful pictures! I love sunshiney yellow flowers :)

Reply to Maman A Droit

Thank you! Oh yes, I think yellow flowers are just so cheerful!

twyla

those are pretty sweet. nice and vibrant and crisp. do you flickr at all or keep a gallery somewhere? (oh duh … i see the link up above, nevermind) … i like the way it looks like silver fingerprints from the grain if the leaf inside the drops

Reply to twyla

Thank you!! I generally just use flickr for hosting my photos heh.

Lauren @ Hobo Mama

You broke your foot? How did I miss that! ~~Healing vibes!~~

That top picture looks like the flower is melting. I don’t know how you do it every time, but it’s almost otherworldly in how breathtaking it is. And the water droplets look like perfect spheres. How fun you’re able to get so close and sharp!

Reply to Lauren @ Hobo Mama

I broke it by tripping over Keith’s foot. Talk about mad skill right. It hurts. I have to walk on it though, no choice!

Awww thank you!! It’s so funny how we ignore most “weeds” and small flowers but up close, they really are wonderful!

Su-sieee! Mac

Stunning images! I’m always awestruck when I see closeups of water drops. I like the way the drops seem to be tumbling in the bottom photo. To have you eye for light and beauty and the tools to capture them. :-)

Reply to Su-sieee! Mac

Thank you so much!! I also love water photos… just something about them!

Nina Amelia

The water drops on the second one are amazing! And the colors in your photos are outstanding.

Reply to Nina Amelia

Yay thank you!! I lucked out on the light that day!

Andree

Great focus especially on that first shot — really cool. Amazing with the water drops! I recently took something similar (maybe “great” minds think alike?)!

Hope your foot is better!

Reply to Andree

Thank you! Sadly my foot hurts just as bad as day one. I know it’s because I am walking on it but I really have no choice meh. Hopefully it heals before Autumn arrives! I can’t wait to get my awesome nature/leaf shots!

Lula Lola

These are really beautiful! I love the color and the sharpness!

Reply to Lula Lola

Thank you so very much!!!

Angela Camp

Your photos are simply amazing!

Reply to Angela Camp

Aw you are too kind Angela!!

I’m such a sucker for photos of water/dew on leaves. Gorgeous shots!

(love the dots in the fields above, btw) ;-)
