Reason number 3, glad my sister lives close
Last night I was actually woken up by a severe and intense migraine. It was awful. I cried for an hour straight, holding an icepack on my head. I finally caved and tried calling my sister, but it rang and rang, which meant she was online. So even though I couldn’t even look at the monitor because it caused such pain, my sister knew something was up because I do not go online that late, so she IM’d me and I tried to explain how much pain I was in, not even 5 minutes later, at 1:30am, my sister came over, gave me medication, checked in on my son who was sleeping through all of this, turned off anything that would cause noise, and made sure the medication was starting to kick in before she left.
So yeah. It’s nice my sister lives so close she can help me when I am sobbing hysterical with an icepack.
