Not the best photos as I shot these in late evening at a super high ISO (like… 1000 – 1600!) but still, some of you expressed an interest so here we are! A few things like… my eyelash curler or other odds and ends I didn’t take photos of because well… effort. Share with me YOUR collection!

Not really all that much or as fancy as some of your collections but still! Shiny! Pretty! Glittery!
At first I was going to make a list of what I purchased during the Sephora VIB sale but then… I got tired. Plus, I wasn’t in the mood to take a photo of every single product. Oh and I’m not sure if anyone is as interested in cosmetics and such like I am! Still, perhaps there is one person out there interested so here we go!
I was lucky and not only had the gift card my husband gave me for my 30th birthday last month in hand but I also had a few Sephora store credits saved up so that combined with what was budgeted… I think I did very VERY well!
However… here’s the list anyway! In no particular order and I had made sure to stock up on all my face care products because they are EXPENSIVE so the sale was perfect timing!
Now, I had a surplus of Sephora “points”, still do actually… so I got three 500-point “gifts” and one 100-point “gift”.
There were a few more items I wanted but they were out of stock online and in the store. So perhaps the next sale or maybe Christmas?
I also got in the mail today some new nail polishes (not from Sephora). I got Deborah Lippmann’s Stairway to Heaven and Across the Universe. I’m a HUGE Beatles / Lennon fan AND a big fan of Led Zeppelin (thanks to my forever best friend for introducing me to Mr. Plant… and his pants HA!). I also received my Nfu Oh polishes in #51 and #52. So gorgeous!
So tell me I’m not alone in my cosmetic love or even better, higher end cosmetic love, tell me how much a shiny new sparkly nail polish can make your day FABULOUS!
Not only am I going to list all the eyeshadows I have BUT I am going to show photos of them as well. The list is going to be by brand and the photos will be in no particular order so if you see a color you want the name of, let me know. The photos really aren’t my best but considering the volume (and I was too lazy to do more than one basic photo of each), I’m sure we can let my normal high standards go here.
I’d love to see/hear about YOUR eyeshadow collection. I’d also find it awesome if you would share any of your favorite beauty/cosmetic blogs!
The Photos

If you love getting to try out new nail polishes then I suggest you sign up for Julep’s Maven Program! I’ve been getting the boxes for a few months now ($19.99 a month) and have found that I love their polishes and hand products!
Here are some photos of the polishes I’ve received the past few months:

I’ve also gotten full size hand care and nail care products and samples of other hand/nail care products.
I thought I would just do a quick post on what I got for this month’s box and by all means if you’re interested go and sign up! I would love it if you did it via my affiliate link: Julep Maven because I can then earn rewards. I’m all about reward systems! Once you become a Julep Maven, you get a personalized 20% code that you can use on any/all of your Julep purchases.
So this is what I got in this month’s box!

Now I right away put the polish on (I mean it, RIGHT away, I didn’t take my normal time as we were making lunch heh). I really like this red and believe it or not, this is ONE COAT. My husband also really likes the color, he says it’s very “50’s housewife”. So ignore the sloppy job!

If you have any questions about any of the products or anything really, let me know!

If you love getting to try new products out (especially cosmetic products) then I suggest jumping on the Birchbox bandwagon! I’ve been getting the boxes for a few months now ($10 a month) and have found a few products I really enjoy (and have become purse staples).

The products are (in no particular order):
I have to admit, for not only the last box of the year and the “Holiday” box at that… I’m very disappointed. I love the lip gloss because I love the brand Jouer and the color pink (it applies quite sheer!) but that’s about it!
I am VERY picky about my fragrance and Yogini is dominated by sandalwood. The L’Oreal hair oil (I used barely three drops) left my hair feeling just… odd. Not greasy exactly but overly slick. I have no use for the cleanser so I gave that to my husband to try. I have ZERO need for the fashion tape, I won’t be wearing any tops where I need to tape my breasts (not to mention this is probably only going to work for the small-breasted). Aside from the lip gloss, the Eboost looks interesting because it reminds me of my husbands favorite energy boost mix, ZipFizz. I also gave that to him to try and see which is better, Eboost or ZipFizz.
So overall, this is a miss, however last month’s box was very nice, especially the Zoya nail polish mini so here’s hoping they really WOW all their subscribers in 2012!

I know I’ve posted my collection a few months ago but I’ve got a lot new polishes since then and I wanted more consistent photos!
The list/photos are by brand and are not in any sort of order. If you have a question on a polish, feel free to ask! Also, by ALL means if you have any polish recommendations, share!

So this is what I got in January’s “It Girl” box!

I did some quick swatches (which is why it’s a bit sloppy and I didn’t even bother with my thumb). I found the formula of Megan and Leah to be the best but Hayden was a nightmare. I had to redo it FOUR TIMES and pretty much gave up at the end. The formula of Hayden was just super streaky for me. Megan is SUCH a gorgeous polish though, so shimmery and with Leah it’s very bright but I think is a great Spring color.

This is my FIRST MyGlam bag and granted these are my initial impressions (haven’t had time to USE any of the products yet) but overall I’m very pleased!
Each month for $10 you get a custom made makeup bag (so each month the bag itself is different) and a selection of beauty products.
This is what I got this month:

I am REALLY happy to see that the majority of the products are full-sized. The only thing that isn’t full size is the Wen Cleansing Conditioner but even then I think 2oz is a really decent size. You also get coupon codes for EACH product ranging from a special kits to a percentage off your order with those companies.
I also LOVE the bag, I think it’s really cute, a good size, and I love anything and everything that has a nature inspired design on it.
Overall the only products I’m a bit iffy about are the concealer and facial mask. I’m very picky when it comes to facial care and worry that the mask isn’t a good fit for my super dry occasionally sensitive skin. When it comes to the concealer, I believe it’s a mineral based brand? So I may try that on my dark circles, see how it goes.
Do you have any experience with any of these products or with MyGlam? By all means, share!
